Angela Testi has been full time Associate Professor of Political Economy at the University of Genova up to 2016 November, when she retired. She is still affiliated for research and innovative teaching activities (Microeconomics, Health Policy) at this educational institution and is a member of the Teachers’ College in the Phd Economics Scool.
She is the founder of AMAS (Academy for Education in Health Management, University of Genova) in 2012 and is now Director of the same, for National Health System directors and managers accredited by the Ligurian Region’s National Health Service.
Previously, she was Dean of three Bachelor Courses (Degree in Business, Degree in Economics, and Degree in Maritime, Logistics and Transport Economics) at the School of Social Sciences.She was also member of the National Committee for Health Research Funding (Health Ministry) 1997-2002, member of the Academic Senate of the University of Genova (various periods) and covered many other academic appointments in public institutions, responsible for numerous research projects as well as national/ international conference organization. She is the author or co-author of many publications the fields of expenditure models, consumption function, quantitative analysis of health care delivery, deprivation, data envelopment analysis and operations research.
